Refund Policy

Alley chic returns (refunds and or exchange)

Please do not ask to make exceptions we cannot change our policy for you as we will have to do it for everyone so there are no exceptions

  • If you want a refund we will need to contact us via contact forms in menu “contact/refunds” if your having issues you can use the chat feature or SMS us on 04833035615 do not use social media for refunds they are not always working forms of contact as we do not manage the platform chat function and contact form are your best options to contact we will contact you within 24/48 hours
  • Once the refund has been initiated with us we will approve the refund by providing a return address
  • Within the same 3 days you are required to provide our team with a tracking link and Connote for us to track your order 
  • the delivery must be back with us within 7 working days including the 3 day initiation period so do not wait request refund immediately if you are in Australia and if you are international you have 20 days to have the item back to us 
  • the delivery eta 7 days and 20 days are including the 3 days initiation and travel time to us
  • If it’s takes longer we will base this on the fact that it’s out of your hands and we will base it on the day you provided the tracking link and chosen courier 
  • we are the owners we have the final say we will not negotiate you just follow our business policy with refunds 3 days contact for approval

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all tags and labels attached.

We inspect all items and photos are taken before shipment reasons for non-returnable items:

  • Customers who say we did not deliver the item that’s in picture will automatically be rejected
    Handbags and clutches 
  • Dry cleaned
  • under garments of any sort
  • Items are damaged
  • Items smell of perfume
  • Tags have been removed                                                                                         
  • If we suspect  the item has been used and you have added the tags back on      
  • If delivery was not met we will only follow the tracking system provided by the Australia Post only

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Do not initiate a return if you are outside the return policy

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at contact form via menu tab “contact/refunds”

Sale items
Items marked last item no refund on as sale item cannot be refunded.

If you wish to exchange, use contact form via menu tab “contact/refunds” and to initiate the return we will supply you with an address, just because you have been supplied with an address the item will still be inspected and must meet return requirements

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund or unless overridden by management with agreement with customer. If you received a discounted shipping amount for example $10 off and you return the item the discounted amount no longer applies you will be responsible for the full delivery amount  and will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
